Must have: (To be shortlisted you must have the previous working experience within insurance)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in policy service or policy administration environment
Must have experience within the insurance industry

A large Insurance Underwriting Management company based in Johannesburg are currently looking for a young, energetic candidate for the position of Policy Administrator to start as soon as possible.

Salary: R12 500 CTC (Note CTC is Cost to Company and includes the Company’s contributions to medical aid, Vitality, provident fund, UIF and Skills Levy) 

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role to ensure a positive interaction with our policy holders and agents on policy administration, proper and accurate updating of policy data onto the underwriting system so as to ensure a quality service is provided to Customers within the agreed time standard
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 2 year’s work experience preferably in a policy servicing or insurance administration environment Numeracy
Strong written and verbal communication
Computer literacy at intermediate or high level with focus on: MS Excel - ability to do complex calculations and functionality, Word
Driver’s License
No Criminal Record
No Adverse Credit Record
No adverse record with the FSB
Flexibility in working hours due to possible operational requirements
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintenance of the processes systems and controls.
Assisting Policy Holders with complaints and queries.
Ensure compliance.
Assist with Audits and reports.
Request of system queries.
Assisting Policy Holders with refunds.
Assisting Policy Holders with cancellations.
Assisting Policy Holders with Debit order reinstatement.
Loading and Bulk Loading of policy applications
